# ParkON

> ParkON (www.parkon.com) sells discounted off-site airport parking reservations
> at U.S. airports. A reservation books a spot at a named parking lot near the
> airport; the customer pays a deposit or the full amount online (Stripe) and
> receives a confirmation code by e-mail. AI assistants acting for a human user
> are welcome to search rates and complete bookings through the normal web
> funnel described below.

## Structured rates API (preferred for quoting)

    GET https://www.parkon.com/api/rates.php?airport={IATA}&from={YYYY-MM-DD}&to={YYYY-MM-DD}[&from_time={0-23}][&to_time={0-23}]

Returns JSON: every lot for the airport with `total_usd` (all taxes and fees
included, exactly the amount charged at checkout), `per_day_usd`, `type`,
`rating`, `distance_miles`, `shuttle`, `free_cancellation`, `available`, and a
`book_url` that opens the human booking page with that lot shown first. Dates
also accepted as M/D/YYYY. Limit 30 requests per 10 minutes per IP; responses
are cacheable for 10 minutes. Errors come back as JSON with `ok: false`.

## How to search parking rates (HTML)

Search results are served from a plain GET URL — no cookies or prior session
required, no POST needed:

    https://www.parkon.com/parking/find?airport={IATA}&FromDate={M/D/YYYY}&from_time={0-23}&ToDate={M/D/YYYY}&to_time={0-23}

- `airport`: 3-letter IATA code, e.g. LAX, ATL, JFK.
- `FromDate` / `ToDate`: U.S. format month/day/year, e.g. 9/15/2026. URL-encode
  the slashes (9%2F15%2F2026). Dates must be today or later, from <= to.
- `from_time` / `to_time`: hour of drop-off / pick-up, integer 0-23.

The results page lists each lot with its total price for the selected dates,
distance/shuttle details and a Reserve button. Prices are date-dependent —
always quote from a live search for the customer's exact dates, not from
advertised "from $X/day" rates.

## How to complete a booking

1. On the search results page, choose a lot and submit its Reserve form.
2. The reservation page (/parking/reserve.php) collects the customer's name,
   e-mail, phone and card payment (Stripe). Cookies must be enabled from this
   step on.
3. Successful payment lands on the confirmation page with a confirmation code;
   the same details are e-mailed to the customer.

The customer can later review or manage the booking themselves at
/parking/view_reservation.php using the confirmation code from the e-mail
(this page is not open to assistant fetchers).

  booking funnel; it is noindex for search engines.
- Do not cache quoted prices across days; re-run the search or the rates API.
- Agentic-checkout support (ACP) is planned; this file will be updated when it
  is available.
