Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is one of the longest standing airports in the U.S., Since 1928, EWR has been serving NYC travelers with flights to domestic and international locations. Although the airport services the greater New York City Metropolitan area, it is located in New Jersey, across the Hudson River. Arriving to Newark Liberty is relatively easy via the several major highways that surround it. From NYC, the most direct way to get to Newark Liberty is to cross over from Lower Manhattan, taking the Holland Tunnel into Jersey City via the New Jersey Turnpike/I-78. As you cross over from Jersey City into Newark, you can immediately start seeing options for parking near EWR. The options include some lots to the north of the turnpike and a handful of airport hotels that offer parking near Newark Airport. After you cross the Vincent R. Casciana Memorial Bridge, you can exit to your right to arrive at these parking facilities.

Accessing Newark Liberty from the south is also possible by traveling on I-278 from Staten Island and Brooklyn. To get from Brooklyn to Staten Island, you would need take the I-278 and cross over the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and eventually exchanging into the NJ Turnpike after Staten Island. On the south side of the airport, there are several airport hotels that provide park and fly options and long term airport parking lots on either side of the NJ Turnpike.
